The climate of Ireland is temperate maritime. It has mild winters, cool summers, humid, and overcast for about half the year.
The land consists of mostly flat plains in the middle that are surrounded by hills and small mountains and the west coast is completed with sea cliffs.
Some major mountain ranges include the Blackstairs, Bluestack, Comeragh, Derryveagh, Macgillycuddy's Reeks, Nephinbeg, Ox, Silvermines, Slieve Mish, Twelve Pins, and Wicklow.
